It is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. There are no brackets, wires or restrictions that come with metal braces.
It usually takes about 1 to 1.5 years (12-18 months) to finish, but it depends on how crooked your teeth are. If you follow the rules and wear them a lot, it could be faster—like 8-10 months. If not, it might take longer.
You need to wear your Invisalign® trays for 20-22 hours a day—that’s almost all the time! You can take them out to eat, drink (except water), brush, and floss, but don’t leave them off too long, or your teeth won’t move right.
